Special Game Day Announcement

Special Note

This Thursday is our first football game vs Nolan Catholic HS. The information below is being presented in class today and all parents should become familiar with the policies from the handbook below.

After visiting the stadium site last week, the RHS band staff has come to the conclusion that we will not be taking any large equipment with us. The stadium is small and difficult to move equipment in and out of. We feel that for the safety of the students, parents, staff, and our equipment, it is best to keep the front ensemble and props at RHS.

What does this mean? It means that we will not be performing “Dazon Sketches” on Thursday. We will, however, be performing for the Drill Team and the RHS block. All JV/Varsity band students as always are required to attend all of the games, including this one. This is a unique situation and we do not foresee this being the case in any games in the future. Unless, of course, they are at Nolan.

Parents, the visitors side is small and most of the seats will be used by the drill team and band. Please note, that you might have to sit on the home side of the field.
