BOA San Antonio Room List Sign Up
This Wednesday after school, 10/9, we will continue our room list sign up for BOA San Antonio. Here is what you will need to successfully sign up for a room.

·        You will need to have a least half of the trip cost paid before you can sign up. Total cost of trip is $200.
·        All four members of the room must be present at the time of sign-up.
·        Rooms of 3 may have to be broken up to make rooms of four. Sign up for a room of three at your own risk.
Senior Night
Senior Night is this Friday Evening.  More information will be coming in regards to when and where you will need to be at the stadium. Until then, please submit your Name and who will be escorting you that evening. Please be advised that we are asked to only have two people per person.  Please submit this to Mr. Pickrell at

 BOA Dallas Information (Itinerary Below)

We will be meeting at the FAAC this Saturday at 8am. Here is what you will need to have a successful day.

  • The varsity band, including stage crew,  will be leaving all of our uniforms on the second floor of the FAAC on this Friday evening.  We will go over in class how this will work.
  • JV will bring uniforms back to the school
  • Be sure you bring all of your supplies for the performance. This includes your tuner, breathing tube, gloves, black socks, R Shirt…etc.
  • Money for Snacks or other item at the Villages of Allen.
  • Money for any patches or t-shirts.
  • Water Jug
  • A change of clothes.

Allen Eagle Stadium in Allen, TX

7:45 – Meet at the FAAC for Rehearsal

8:45am – 10:15am – Rehearsal at FAAC

10:30am – Eat and Load at FAAC

11:15am – Leave FAAC

12:15 – Arrive on Site

12:55 – Warm up on Site

2:00 pm – Prelims Performance

2:30 – Leave Stadium for The Villages at Allen

3:00 – Arrive at the Villages (Student free time)

4:30 – Presentation of Prelim Awards (Drum Majors Only)

5:00 – Directors Meeting

7:45 First Finalist Band Performs

Small Meal and/or snack

10:30 – Presentation of Finals Awards

11:15 – Estimated Leave for RHS

12:00am – Estimated Arrival at RHS

12:30am – Estimated Release from RHS

Homecoming Parade
What: Homecoming Parade
Who: All members of the band
When: October 14th, We will be meeting at 5:45 for a 6:30 start
Other: Students should be dropped off at the staging area located at
7201 Iron Horse Blvd (Prestige Ameritech). Your child can be picked up at Richland High School following the pep rally. This should be around 7:45pm. There are no buses this year, so please plan your transportation accordingly.
USA Flag Fundraiser
Show your pride in the USA while supporting the Richland High School Band! With your $40 donation, band members will place a U.S. flag at your residence on the following patriotic holidays:

  • Veteran’s Day – Nov. 11, 2013
  • Presidents’ Day – Feb. 17, 2014
  • Memorial Day – May 26, 2014
  • Independence Day – July 4, 2014
  • Labor Day  – Sept. 1, 2014
  • Patriot Day – Sept. 11, 2014
Flags will be put in place the night before and removed the day after the holiday. Flags will not be placed in inclement weather.
